Dear GSir, I write this G6note to you to Dtell you of me Gplight
And Cat the time of Gwriting, I am A7not a pretty Dsight;
My Cbody is all Gblack and blue, my Dface a deathly Emgray
And I Gwrite this note to Emsay why Paddy's D7not at work Gtoday
While Gworking on the G6fourteenth floor some Dbricks I had to Gclear;
Now, to Cthrow them down from Gsuch a height was A7not a good iDdea
The Cforeman wasn't Gvery pleased, he Dbeing an awkward Emsod
He Gsaid I'd have to Emcart them down the D7ladders in me Ghod
Now, Gclearing all these G6bricks by hand it Dwas so very Gslow
So I Choisted up a Gbarrel and seA7cured the rope beDlow
But Cin me haste to Gdo the job I Dwas to blind to Emsee
That a Gbarrelful of Embuilding bricks was D7heavier than Gme
GSo when I unG6tied the rope the Dbarrel fell like Glead
And Cclinging tightly Gto the rope I A7started up inDstead
Well, I Cshot up like a Grocket till to Dmy dismay I Emfound
That Ghalfway up I Emmet the bloody D7barrel comming Gdown
Well, the Gbarrel broke me G6shoulder as Dto the ground it Gsped
And Cwhen I reached the Gtop I banged the A7pully with my Dhead
Well, I Cclung on tight through Gnumbed shock from Dthis almighty Emblow
And the Gbarrel spilled out Emhalf the bricks D7fourteen floors beGlow
Now, Gwhen these bricks had G6fallen from the Dbarrel to the Gfloor
I Cthen outweighed the Gbarrel and so A7started down once Dmore;
Still Cclinging tightly Gto the rope, I Dsped towards the Emground
And I Glanded on the Embrocken bricks that D7were all scattered Ground
Well, I Glay there groaning G6on the ground, I Dthought I'd passed the Gworst
When the Cbarrel hit the Gpully-wheel and tA7hen the bottom Dburst
Well, a Cshower of bricks rained Gdown on me, I Dhadn't got a Emhope
As I Glay there moaning Emon the ground, I let D7go of the bloody Grope
The Gbarrel than being G6heavier, it Dstarted down once Gmore
And Clanded right acGross me, as I A7lay upon the Dfloor
Well, it Cbroke three ribs and Gmy left arm and DI can only Emsay
That I Ghope you'll underEmstand why Paddy's D7not at work toGday
