I threw in another G chord that sounds better when the base comes in. It adds that
heavier tone to the mix and I labeled it as G*. Technically you could stay on the
original G chord, but I like to add in a more rounder sound.
GGo on lay your troubles down,
Set your feet on sGolid ground,
EmPeace deep as I have found,
CI wanna follow yGou,
GCome on all you weak and weary,
Come 'round now if yGou can hear me,
EmPoor, sick, and God-fearing,
CI wanna follow yGou,
CI said, I wanna follow yGou,
GLeave all your troubles,
GLeave all your sorrow,
EmSet down your burden,
CCome on and follGow,
GCome on heavy laden,
GDon't wait for tomorrow,
EmCome on my brother,
CCome on and follGow,
GGo on leave your worries too,
Not a bit of gGood they do,
EmThere's a word that's coming through,
CGo on leave your worry tGoo,
GSo I call your name in the middle of the night,
I want to know can you hGear my cries,
EmJune heat and moonlight,
CI wanna follow yGou,
CI said, I wanna follow yGou,
Oh yeah,
Set your burdens down,
Set your burdens down,
Set your burdens down, Yeah
