Tis a sad but trGue story
From the biDble it came
And it tells us how Judas A
Sold the SavDior in shame
He planned with the councilG
Of high priesDt that day
Thirty pieces of silver A
Was the priDce they would pay
Thirty pieceGs of silver
Thirty shackDles of shame
Was the price paid for Jesus A
On theD cross he was slain
Betrayed and forsaken G
Unloved and unclaimedD
In anger they piercedA him
But he died Dnot in vein
Twas there Gon the hillside
The mulDtitude came
And found our dear savior A
Then toDok him away
They bruised and they mocked Ghim
Thorns was crowned around his head D
And his garment of purple A
Showed the blDood stains of red
Far off in the mountaiGns
With his facDe towards the sun
A Judas begged mercy
For what Dhe had done
He gave baGck the silver
For his hearDt filled with strife
Then there Ain the mountain
He took hDis own life
30 pieGces of silver
30 shackDles of shame
A Was the price paid for Jesus
On theD cross he was slain
